We have now arrived at the Senate square featured above on the header. On the right hand side of the Helsinki cathedral is the Government building.
In front of this building, where many an important issue has been decided upon, is the statue of Alexander the second. He was the Tzar of Russia at the time these buildings were being built.
Here's a view of the whole building
On the left hand side of the square is the Helsinki university, which is the largest university in Finland.
